#Baggage allowance in indigo domestic verification#

By paying the Fees online, passengers: (i) unconditionally and irrevocably agree to these terms and conditions and (ii) consent that all information provided by the passenger may be shared by IndiGo with its agents, representatives, service providers, employees, and may be used to send promotional information pertaining to IndiGo to the passenger, in future.

IndiGo's decision with respect to all matters relating to the Service, shall be final and binding.

IndiGo reserves the right to: (i) modify the terms of this Service, or to replace (wholly or in part) the terms with another service (whether similar to this Service or not), or withdraw this Service, at any time, without giving any prior notice and/or assigning any reason.

The Fees will be refunded only in case of cancellation of the flight booking for the passenger against whose name such Service has been purchased, or cancellation of the entire flight booking by the passenger or the flight being cancelled by IndiGo.

The Service is non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-transferable.

The weight of such sports equipment will count towards the calculation of a passenger’s permissible baggage allowance and standard excess baggage charges, if applicable, will be levied over and above the Fees.

The Service is not available on IndiGo’s ATR aircraft or to passengers holding ' Lite Fare' tickets or an equivalent offering.

The Fees can be paid through IndiGo’s website ( either at the time of booking, or at any time thereafter, until two (2) hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

The Service will be available for travel on both domestic and International sectors.

Depending on the dimension of the items of sports equipment, such items may be loaded onto the flight in a tilted position at IndiGo’s discretion.

IndiGo will not accept items of sports equipment with dimensions greater than the following dimensions:.

₹1200 is payable on Pre-booking sports equipment on Domestic Sector and ₹2,500 is payable on International Sector (inclusive of taxes) per equipment (checked-in baggage) per passenger per journey (“Fees”), for both domestic and international travel respectively.

Passengers booking IndiGo flights have the option to pre-pay handling fees for up to three (3) items of sports equipment (including, skiing equipment, golf bags, bicycles, surf boards, snow boards, water skis and scuba diving equipment) per passenger per journey online (“ Service”).

The Scheme will be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of India, and all matters related to the Scheme will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at New Delhi.

By opting for the Scheme, customer unconditionally and irrevocably agrees to these terms and conditions.

All bookings shall be governed by IndiGo’s conditions of carriage.

In case the Customer fails to furnish his/ her Military ID card/Dependent Card, the benefits will not be extended to the Customer and booking will be deemed cancelled Subject to availability, Customer will have to make new booking to obtain such discounted rates.

Customer will be denied boarding in case they fail the verification stage during the check-in process. In case the Customer fails to furnish his/ her Military ID card/Dependent Card, the Benefits will not be extended to the Customer and booking will be deemed cancelled. Customers would be required to produce their Military ID card/ Dependent card at the time of check-in/airport entry for verification.In case the inventory is exhausted under this category, you may choose to fly a different date or select a normal class fare to check the availability on the same date. There are restricted inventory available under the discounted fares hence limited seats are available, which is served on first come first serve basis.The discount of upto 50% shall be reduced to the extent of any other promotional scheme available such that the overall discount does not exceed 50%.This offer cannot be clubbed with any other promotional scheme or discount offer extended by IndiGo.These discounted fares are now available for serving retired Defence and paramilitary personnel and their families.A non-refundable service fee will be charged when booked through Travel Agents or any other third party.Up to 50% discount on base fare is provided for bookings made under Defence category, this booking can be made through IndiGo’s website goindigo.inand IndiGo’s Mobile Application.
